Frequently asked questions
Q. Do you offer in-person sessions or telehealth?
Both! I offer in-person sessions, in the Glastonbury office, and telehealth sessions. You can also choose to utilize both options depending on your schedule. One week you can come into the office and the next you can do telehealth. It is completely up to you. The only caveat is that you must physically be in the state of Connecticut to receive telehealth sessions. If you are traveling, and will be out of state, I cannot provide services until you are back in CT
Q. How often do I get to come?
The frequency of treatment is up to you. Most people start off by coming once a week or every other week.
Q. Do you accept insurance?
Yes. Please check under the Rates and Insurance tab for a comprehensive list of our in-network providers. My billing company will also verify your insurance, prior to your first appointment, to let you know what you can expect to pay for a co-payment, if any.
Q. What if you are not in-network with my insurance? Can I still see you?
Yes. Most insurance plans offer out of network behavioral health benefits. I will provide an invoice (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I also accept private pay via Ivy Pay, cash, or check.
Q. What hours do you schedule sessions?
Typically, my hours are 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday.
